- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 tsp Vanilla paste
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, corn starch, powdered sugar, salt, and cardamom together in medium mixing bowl.
Sift dry ingredients twice. (If you want to try and sift your brown sugar in the mixture as well I encourage it)
Mix in brown sugar.
Add vanilla paste to softened butter.
Combine butter into the dry ingredients.
Knead to form dough.
Two option here: roll into two inch log and chill for 1 hour in fridge, or chill then roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut out shapes.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes before moving.
Use double boiler to melt 3/4 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips.
Place cookies next to each other on parchment paper.
Use spatula or spoon to drizzle chocolate over cookies.
Allow chocolate to cool and enjoy!
