Ingredients

  • 4 cups halved figs
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup lavender simple syrup

Instructions

  • First step is to wash and clean your fruit.
  • Figs have tough stems and you needs to cut them off.
  • Then slice the figs in half or quarters until you have four cups of fruit.
  • Now combine the fruit, lemon juice, honey, and lavender cardamom simple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cover the fruit and occasionally stir for about 30-45 minutes until the fruit has broken down.
  • Take immersion blender to the jam.
  • Cool and enjoy over toast, on crackers, or in your hot cereal.
