Fruit Topped CinnaBreads

Fruit Topped CinnaBreads

Ever have surprise guest for the weekend? You get up early to brew coffee and make your guest a bite for breakfast, and you realize you have no time, and nothing prepared? Store this little cheat recipe away and wow your guests.

Ingredients:

•1 package pizza dough (I use Trader Joe’s)

•1/3 cup brown sugar

•1/3 cup chopped walnuts

•1 tsp cinnamon

•fresh fruit

•optional dried fruit

•honey

Preheat oven to 415

Knead brown sugar, walnuts, and optional dried fruit into the dough till well combined. Pull off small chunks to flatten out into 3-4 inch diameter 1/2 inch thick circles. Added sliced fruit on top, put them on parchment papered cookie sheet, and put them into the oven. I suggest checking them at 12 min. Depending on thickness and wetness of fruit. If done pull out and drizzle honey liberally over the top, return to oven for 2 more minutes. Pull out cool and serve!

Just like that your house will smell like baked cinnamon goods and your guest will think you got up at 4am to start baking!

Enjoy!
