Chocolate Spice Cookies

You know what I am talking about, your pine scented candles, gingerbread men (or women) baking, mulled wine, hot cocoa, anthropology candles burning, cinnamon scented pine cones by the fire. Of course baked goods are a big part of those memories, and these Chocolate Spice Cookies will take you right back!
The spices of Christmas and chocolate combine in these soft gooey cookies! Perfect for eating by be Christmas tree with a glass of milk! Easy to make and so tasty, make lots they won’t last!!

Chocolate Spice Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 6 tbsp softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350.
- Mix together egg, molasses vanilla, sugar, and softened butter together thoroughly.
- Then combine in large bowl all the remaining ingredients.
- Pour wet ingredients over dry and mix well.
- Form golf ball sized balls and flatten them slightly. Place on parchment papered cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
Love this combination! Chewy chocolate spice cookies! They turned out great!
