Veggie Chicken Wraps
Lunch time, oh the struggle… you want to make something that everyone will enjoy. Lunch needs to be easy to pull together in a pinch. Your life is busy as it is, swim class, crafts, pre-school, playing dinosaurs, folding laundry, keeping sane, re-heating your coffee fifteen times. Time to make sure lunch isn’t adding to the stress, cough cough I mean fun! This recipe for veggie chicken wraps is easy to pull together in a pinch, and while I can’t promise it will allow you to drink your coffee uninterrupted, it will be inexpensive, tasty, and nutritious! Thats a win-win if you ask me!
Veggie Chicken Wraps Ingredients
I mentioned how easy this recipe is right?! Well so are the ingredients, all of which are available from Trader Joe’s. Seriously time and money saver right there, you probably were at Trader Joe’s today anyway, many of you are probably stuck in Trader Joe’s parking lots as I type this! On to the healthy and delicious ingredients though.
- Romaine Lettuce
- Trader Joe’s Chickenless Crispy Tenders
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Lemon
- Tortillas
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- Dash Garlic Powder
- Dash Onion Salt
- Cheddar Cheese
Let’s Wrap This UP!
Heat a cast iron skillet to medium heat a brown the chickenless crispy tenders. Then take 1/4 cup of sour cream and squeeze 1/2 of a lemon into it. Next add a dash of garlic powder and onion salt. Stir it up! Then grab a tortilla, sprinkle cheddar cheese over it, next add two chicken tenders on top of the cheese. Add chopped romaine, sliced avocado, and dollop on your lemon sour cream mixture. Wrap tightly and place into your skillet. Brown on each side then serve!
